NTA UGC NET December 2025 – Apply Online
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the UGC National Eligibility Test (UGC NET / JRF) December 2025. The online application process has started from 07 October 2025 and will continue till 07 November 2025. The correction window will remain open from 10 to 12 November 2025. Candidates are advised to apply within the deadline and carefully check the eligibility criteria before submitting the form.

Application Fee
- General: ₹ 1,150
- EWS / OBC: ₹ 600
- SC / ST / PH: ₹ 325
- Mode of Payment: Online (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or E-Challan)
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PH).
- Age Limit: For JRF – Maximum 30 years. For Assistant Professor – No upper age limit.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of Master’s are also eligible.
Selection Process
- Paper 1 – General Aptitude (Teaching & Research)
- Paper 2 – Subject-specific
- Both papers will be conducted in CBT mode by NTA.
